AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around a hypothesis suggesting that our universe could be the end of a black hole, termed a white hole. The original poster seeks resources and research to support or refute this idea, expressing difficulty in finding relevant literature. Responses indicate skepticism about the existence of white holes, with one user recommending a specific thread in the astrophysics section for more information. Additionally, Lee Smolin's concept of cosmic natural selection is mentioned as a potential starting point for further exploration. Overall, the conversation highlights the challenges of researching unconventional astrophysical theories.

Hello,
I'm currently developing a hypothesis on how our universe could be in fact the end of one black hole; a white hole. I've been having difficulties looking for books or research papers to see if this is in fact just a rip from a larger hypothesis or theory. My teacher had told me to visit forums to see if there is any help out there for this idea that hit me as i was sleeping in her class ha ha. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

google on lee smolin cosmic natural selection. I don't buy it, but is a good place to start.

Dont't bother. White holes are nonexistent. They always have been, they always will be. For more information on white holes go to the why white holes do not exist thred in the astrophysics section.

Im not fammilar with that article. What is it about?

Publication: Redox-driven mineral and organic associations in Jezero Crater, Mars Article: NASA Says Mars Rover Discovered Potential Biosignature Last Year Press conference The ~100 authors don't find a good way this could have formed without life, but also can't rule it out. Now that they have shared their findings with the larger community someone else might find an explanation - or maybe it was actually made by life.
TL;DR Summary: In 3 years, the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) telescope (or rather, a system of telescopes) should be put into operation. In case of failure to detect alien signals, it will further expand the radius of the so-called silence (or rather, radio silence) of the Universe. Is there any sense in this or is blissful ignorance better? In 3 years, the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) telescope (or rather, a system of telescopes) should be put into operation. Thread 'Could gamma-ray bursts have an intragalactic origin?'
This is indirectly evidenced by a map of the distribution of gamma-ray bursts in the night sky, made in the form of an elongated globe. And also the weakening of gamma radiation by the disk and the center of the Milky Way, which leads to anisotropy in the possibilities of observing gamma-ray bursts. My line of reasoning is as follows: 1. Gamma radiation should be absorbed to some extent by dust and other components of the interstellar medium. As a result, with an extragalactic origin, fewer...
