Need Help: Looking for college level proffesor or someone "qualified" to interview

Im doing my senior project on Rail Guns and as a requirement I need to interview "qualified" people, asking them questions pertaining to my project. I'm looking for atleast one person to interview, 2 would be great. Anyone with any experience with actual rail guns would be very helpful. However, I believe a college professor who teaches the principles relating to the rail gun, would also be helpful. I would send you an email with questions and you would respond sometime before Febuary 10th, the earlier the better. Thanks to all those who respond.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out about your senior project on Rail Guns. It sounds like you are looking for a college professor or someone with experience in actual rail guns to interview for your project. I would be happy to help connect you with potential interviewees.

I suggest reaching out to your university's physics or engineering department to see if there are any professors who specialize in rail guns. You can also try reaching out to research institutions or companies that work with rail guns to see if there are any experts who would be willing to be interviewed.

In addition, I would recommend expanding your search to online resources such as forums or LinkedIn groups for rail gun enthusiasts. These platforms may provide you with a wider pool of individuals who have experience and knowledge in this field.

I wish you the best of luck with your project and hope you are able to find someone who can provide valuable insights for your interview. Please feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance.

My question: just before and after the collision, is ANGULAR momentum CONSERVED about this point? Lets call the point which connects the string and rod as P. Why am I asking this? : it is clear from the scenario that the point of concern, which connects the string and the rod, moves in a circular path due to the string...
