He probably at some point stepped on a tack, then some gum. Then he kicked off his slippers to go walk Benji. The phone rang while he was out. The magnet in the bell pulled the slipper up against the underside of the table, and the gum stuck it there. Where's the mystery?

Hmmm. I was thinking his slipper had velcro straps. That would not only explain how it got stuck to the table, but why he was so happy to find it. If you're hopping around on one foot, having the velcro on the remaining slipper get stuck to the furniture mid-hop sucks.

Our telephone table is one you can sit on, with a draw and cupboard on one
side, there is about one inch clearance between the table and floor, it looks
like the base is made from ply wood, this has sort of delaminated and split in
an iregular zigzag, some how my slipper/flip flop got under the table and hooked
by the strap.
Now take as much pee as you like, i don't care anymore. :biggrin: :-p

i took wolly's sliper and i hid it under teh table for a joke. :wink: :!)
