In summary, salutations are a way to greet and address friends and acquaintances in a polite and friendly manner. They can be used in both formal and informal settings, and often include a combination of words such as "hello," "hi," or "hey" with a person's name or a general term like "friends." These greetings are an important part of social interactions and can help establish a positive and welcoming atmosphere. As a student, it is important to understand the appropriate use of salutations in different situations and to always be respectful and considerate when using them.

So, um... hello!

Currently I know I want to go into theory, but I still don't know specifically what I want to study.
