Simulating a Ring Oscillator in Simulink - Help Needed!

AI Thread Summary
A last-year electrical engineering student is seeking assistance with simulating a ring oscillator in Simulink, having encountered some issues during the process. The student created inverters within Simulink and combined an odd number of them to form a ring oscillator but is unsure about the best simulation methods. They are utilizing SPICE parameters for their simulations. The discussion emphasizes the need for guidance from those with experience in simulating ring oscillators. The student is looking for effective strategies to improve their simulation outcomes.

i am a last year EE student and I am creating a library in simulink. and at 1 stage i need to simulate a ring oscillator . i ve done it but with a lil bit of problems in the simulations. I am using spice parameters for simulink . that's why i asked if any of you guys have done it before.
how do i open a new tread?

Welcome to the PF. It's a new thread now!

Can you post your code? What kind of problems are you seeing?

im not using code in simulink. i made my own inverters by setting up the inverter circuits in simulink then i turned my circuits into subsystems and i made it look like an inverter which works perfect. and i joined odd number of inverters and made a ring oscillator but i need to know what's the best way of simulating a ring oscillator.

Thread 'Weird near-field phenomenon I get in my EM simulation'
I recently made a basic simulation of wire antennas and I am not sure if the near field in my simulation is modeled correctly. One of the things that worry me is the fact that sometimes I see in my simulation "movements" in the near field that seems to be faster than the speed of wave propagation I defined (the speed of light in the simulation). Specifically I see "nodes" of low amplitude in the E field that are quickly "emitted" from the antenna and then slow down as they approach the far...
Hello dear reader, a brief introduction: Some 4 years ago someone started developing health related issues, apparently due to exposure to RF & ELF related frequencies and/or fields (Magnetic). This is currently becoming known as EHS. (Electromagnetic hypersensitivity is a claimed sensitivity to electromagnetic fields, to which adverse symptoms are attributed.) She experiences a deep burning sensation throughout her entire body, leaving her in pain and exhausted after a pulse has occurred...
