AI Thread Summary
The discussion highlights the overwhelming number of passwords and identification numbers individuals must remember, particularly when managing finances across multiple banks. Participants express frustration over the complexity of keeping track of various PINs, IDs, and personal information, including Social Security Numbers (SSNs). One user humorously notes the challenge of recalling these numbers, even mixing in scientific constants as a joke. The conversation touches on the use of encrypted files for storing sensitive information, acknowledging the difficulties of accessing such files in public spaces. Additionally, there is a light-hearted exchange about the vast array of numbers and technical data that people, especially students, must juggle, emphasizing the burden of memory in today's digital age. The thread concludes with playful banter about password security practices, underscoring the ongoing struggle with managing personal data securely.

Geeeeeeeeeeeez! I needed to move cash from one bank to another today and it just hit me again that there are sooooooooooo many passwords and ID's and crap that one must remember! I'm even starting to forget my SSN every once in a while. To think... all the numbers associated with someone...

for me i can think up the following off the absolute top of my head:

bank 1 pin
bank 1 second acount pin
bank 2 pin
bank 1 id
bank 1 second account pin
bank 2 id
home phone
cell phone
student id
brokerage account
DOB (ok so it takes me a sec, shut up)
SSN

hell throw in the numbers you remember as a physics student and all of a sudden your SSN becomes 6.626*10^-34.

bank 1 second account pin
bank 2 id

cell phone
student id
brokerage account

numbers?

That's why I put 'em all in one encrypted file. Makes it hard to access IMs and such from cafes, tho.

That's all you can do?

In addition, throw in telephone numbers of clients around the world, various specifications of nuclear reactors, fuel designs, copious quantities of materials information, formulas, equations and data from thermodynamics and fluid mechanics, all sorts of obscure bits of technical data, and that's a start.

But I'm barely 19! This is just my foundation of numbers.

yeah, too many numbers. that's why when i get to create my own passwords, i never use numeric ones. i just use 'password'. uts funny, sometimes i like to just go to random people's emails and see if 'password' works... its surprising how often it does

It's just silly sarcasm. Rach3, you may become a millionaire, if you only guess why wise girls are stupid,
