I've been looking for a good reference for luminescence spectroscopy but I haven't found anything. Could anyone please help me?
Thank you very much for that. It is very helpful but this article is about Laser excited atomic fluorescence spectrometry while I am looking for a useful reference for Photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy (PLE) and time resolved Photoluminescence spectroscopy and that how can we analyse the data obtained by these methods.MikeyW said:Had a quick look and found this.

Look useful?
To broad a topic. Let me split it into two.hokhani said:I've been looking for a good reference for luminescence spectroscopy but I haven't found anything. Could anyone please help me?

1) Luminescence spectroscopy of organic molecules.
I use a reference:
"Principles of Fluorescence Spectroscopy" 3rd edition by Joseph R. Lakowicz (Springer, 2006).
2) For solid state physics, especially semiconductors.
I use for a reference:
"Optical Processes in Semiconductors" by Jacques I. Pankove (Dover, 1971).
I know about the enormous cost differential. Lakowicz is very expensive but very comprehensive. Pankove is inexpensive but a bit narrow. However, that is what I have been using.
