My original post turned into a career-advice thread, so let me try again. I am a 40-year-old physicist from Ohio. I earned my Ph.D. back in 2002, and I've been adjunct-teaching for the past ten years while raising two children and being the junior member of a two-body problem. My most recent research has been in complex networks, but I've dabbled in a number of fields. Still trying to figure out what I'm going to be when I grow up. :)

So hello!

Welcome to PF!

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
