What is the Best Ebook Reader for Reading Journal Articles?

AI Thread Summary
When considering an eBook reader for reading journal articles with specific formatting, the key requirement is the ability to render PDFs accurately without altering their layout. Many users prefer devices that maintain the original formatting of documents, avoiding reflow issues that can compromise readability. While traditional methods like printing PDFs for annotation are still popular, especially among those not accustomed to digital reading, the convenience of eBook readers is becoming increasingly appealing. The transition to digital reading can help reduce paper waste and streamline access to materials, making it a practical option for academic and professional use.
