Hey, so for a capstone project we are working with 2 24V wheel chair motors. and the sponsor wants us to make it operate like a skid steer (two separate handles, one for each motor, controlling the forward and reverse speeds). Me and my group being a mechanical engineers, we are not so knowledgeable on these kind of electric controls. was wondering if anyone knew of a speed controller that would utilize a lever style, and would also allow us to wire the battery and motor straight to it for simplicity. any advice would be awesome, thanks.

NOTE: We are planning on using 2 100amp 12v batteries in series to power this motor. At this point we think they are brushed DC motors, but will let you know if we find out different. these are discontinued motors and the manufactures don't have much info on them.
