AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on locating all eight volumes of Newton's Mathematical Papers. It highlights that while some volumes may be available for purchase on platforms like Amazon, they are often out of print. Users are encouraged to check local libraries, with a link provided to WorldCat for broader library searches. Additionally, a suggestion is made to visit the Cambridge University Library's website for potential resources related to Newton's works.

On the assumption that you want to buy these, at least some of these volumes are at (for example) Amazon:

Hi, I have notice that Ashcroft, Mermin and Wei worked at a revised edition of the original solid state physics book (here). The book, however, seems to be never available. I have also read that the reason is related to some disputes related to copyright. Do you have any further information about it? Did you have the opportunity to get your hands on this revised edition? I am really curious about it, also considering that I am planning to buy the book in the near future... Thanks!
