AI Thread Summary
Manufacturing engineering consistently has a strong market presence due to the ongoing need for production in factories. This field offers job opportunities in both management and hands-on roles. In comparison to mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering is often viewed as having a more stable demand, particularly in industries focused on production processes. Individuals considering their career path should weigh the job market stability and opportunities in manufacturing engineering against their interests and skills in mechanical engineering.
