Here's my dear friend's reply (yeah the one that invited me to Berlin)

"they like people

and make sure you run, they like chasing you -- also -- you'll get a
great adrenalin rush will at least feel like you're doing something
constructive while they're chasing you -- also probably won't hurt that
much and won't be as scary

bring your cell phone, the sheriff can track it from their stomachs that way"

:frown: It's nice to have such good friends.

Work sucks, they fired another friend. I have a job offer from another company offering me twice the base salary, but I don't have any respect for that company.

Fought with a friend.

Just sad.

There's no respect at the unemployment line too you know. I can beat your friend up, if it helps any.

Yeah, beat him up, he won't buy me a Teddy Ruxpin either.

So, you're saying I should compromise my morals and work for the scumbags that pay more?

Yeah, I could do that. <snif>

They're worse than a company who is firing your friends? That's scary. But, if you double your salary, you can afford all the repairs your house needs AND the airfare to DC every few weeks.

Fought with a friend.

Just sad.
Yeah, stuff like that just seems to pile up. Once you're in a foul mood, it seems inevitable that even more feathers will get ruffled before it gets better. We need Gale to come around with her pillowhead friends to cheer you up when it gets this bad.

 I wasn't trying to dump her on you. I heard someone's date went really well and thought she might want a second date...and third, and fourth, and...

West Virginia isn't too far from DC either; I could always stop in and check on you if she doesn't have time.
