Work sucks, they fired another friend. I have a job offer from another company offering me twice the base salary, but I don't have any respect for that company.
They're worse than a company who is firing your friends? That's scary. But, if you double your salary, you can afford all the repairs your house needs AND the airfare to DC every few weeks.

Fought with a friend.

Just sad.
Yeah, stuff like that just seems to pile up. Once you're in a foul mood, it seems inevitable that even more feathers will get ruffled before it gets better. We need Gale to come around with her pillowhead friends to cheer you up when it gets this bad.

 I wasn't trying to dump her on you. I heard someone's date went really well and thought she might want a second date...and third, and fourth, and...

West Virginia isn't too far from DC either; I could always stop in and check on you if she doesn't have time.

Mmmm, this soup is SO GOOD, maybe if I take some to the mountain lions they will stop eating the neighborhood chihuahuas.

Can you freeze and FedEx me some?! Creamcheese soup with dill and smoked ham sounds really good. :-p

And you really have mountain lions eating pets in your neighborhood? I would have thought coyotes. But mountain lions?!

I'm trying to find the recipe for it.

Yep, mountain lions. One came into the neighborhood last year and ate my neighbor's dog. Last hike I went on, it was a bit muddy and ran across REAL FRESH tracks, too fresh. :bugeye:

I wish I had a pet polar bear. It might eat me, but with cuteness like that, I'd be willing to risk it.
