Which species of Fe are considered dissolved Fe?
It's an assumption so that I can draw a simplified Eh-Ph diagram. It is not meant to be generally correct I believe.- 1question

Which species of Fe are considered dissolved Fe?
Homework Statement The question tells me that all dissolved iron species will have an activity of 0.1M. So is Fe(OH)42- considered a dissolved species of Fe, and if so, it will have an activity of 0.1M? Homework Equations N/A The Attempt at a Solution I want to say that it is not considered...- 1question

High School Finding the set of u such that
Hi Mark. OK, I generally understand the idea, except for why you would do 2) in the first place. The sign is > not <, so why did you do both? Thanks. EDIT: I believe I understand the process now. http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/Alg/SolvePolyInequalities.aspx is very helpful.- 1question

High School Finding the set of u such that
Hi. I'm having trouble understanding the logic behind finding a set of u for u(u-1) > 0. To solve these, I tend to factor as much as possible, then equate each expression to 0 (in this case to > 0) and solve, changing the > to < if I must divide by a negative number. I get u >0 and u > 1 but the...- 1question

How Do You Balance Complex Chemical Equations in Ionic and Neutral Forms?
I solved it: Cu3AsS4 + 3/2HS- = 3/2Cu2S + AsS43- I can't believe I didn't see that earlier. Thanks for the reply! (Why can't I edit my post after a given amount of time? It would be nice to be able to grab the formatted stuff from there and change it to suit my current needs...)- 1question
