Undergrad Understanding Newtonian Gravitation
Net gravitational force on point mass by ring will be always zero. Consider the entire mass of ring as small point equal masses. For every point mass on ring, there will be another point mass symmetrically opposite on the ring. Net force by two opposite masses on the point mass inside cancel...- Puneeth423

High School Why dont we feel earths rotation?
Earth is completing one rotation in one day i.e, in 24 hours. Its equator length is around 40,000 km. Every point on equator is moving with a speed of 40,000/24 i.e, 1667 km/hr. Why don't we feel that speed even though we are moving at such high speeds when we are at equator?- Puneeth423

Undergrad Difference between rule and law in physics
Why is it that Newtons laws of motion and not Newtons rules of motion? Why is it that Fleming's right hand rule and not Fleming's right hand law?- Puneeth423

High School Image formation in concave mirror
We can see this image only if the real image is formed in front of us. What happens if the rays enter our eyes before they form the real image?(for ex: If you place yourself between focal point and radius of curvature of the mirror, your eye will receive the rays before they form the real image...- Puneeth423

High School Image formation in concave mirror
Ok. You are telling that the image which i see is image of the real image which forms or the diverging rays which after forming a real image enters my eyes and form an image of the inverted real image?- Puneeth423

High School Image formation in concave mirror
Whats the difference if it appears behind or it is seen inside the mirror? We can catch the real image on a paper. But my question is about the image which we are seeing inside the mirror?- Puneeth423

High School Image formation in concave mirror
Can we see a real image with our naked eye without using a screen to capture image? Also, we all know that virtual image formation in a concave mirror will be always erect. Check out the image below. Spoon here acts as a concave mirror and the image is inverted. Why is it virtual then?- Puneeth423

"To pull a wagon we need a force of 300 N. How much work is done if we pull the wagon 8 km??" Work done = 300N*8000meters = 2400KJ. "And how much is the effect if the wagon is being pulled for 40 min.?? " What is the effect?Power? Power = work/time = 2400KJ/(40*60 seconds) = 1KW. "And...- Puneeth423
