HI,
i have a set of data that i want to plot with matlab, using an equation.
i have all x data points and want to generate y values for each x data point.
function y =marko(x)
y= (4.11/1.98)*{(1/4*((1-x/L).^2))-(1/4)-(x/L)};
x=(218+data points)
from the command window i have...
Hi,
i have been working on this problem for a while. i just need some guidance.
the question is: design a ztube scanner suitable for displacing ±1 micron displacement at 200V.
i am using this equation:
ΔL=([d]_{}[/31]×V×L)/t
ΔL=(d31 ×L×V)/t
ΔL=change in length = 1micron...
i have attached a file with integration of wavefunction.
so i integrated the wavefunction, I am just not sure of the steps.
for example> if i want to work out the expectation value of energy. what exact steps do i follow..
im just confused with the terminology of what I am asked.

the lowest value for n is 1, this gives the smallest orbital radius 0.0529nm(bohr radius)
L=r*p=mvr m=9.1e-31, v=20m/s r=0.5nm
mvr=nhbar
L=n h/2pi=nhbar

a classical electron moves in a circle of radius 0.5mm with velocity 20ms-1
what is the value of the quantum number L which gives a quantised angular momentum close to the angular momentum of this classical electron?
