Calculators Definite Double Integral on Wolfram

AI Thread Summary
To solve the problem of finding the double integral of (x^2 + y^2) over the circle defined by the equation x^2 + y^2 = 1, the approach involves using polar coordinates due to the symmetry of the circle. The integral can be transformed into polar coordinates where x = r cos(θ) and y = r sin(θ). The limits for r will be from 0 to 1, and for θ from 0 to 2π. The expression (x^2 + y^2) becomes r^2 in polar coordinates, leading to the integral being expressed as ∫ from 0 to 2π ∫ from 0 to 1 (r^2) * r dr dθ. This simplifies to evaluating the integral of r^3 with respect to r and then multiplying by the integral of dθ over the specified limits. The final result can be computed using Wolfram|Alpha or Mathematica for precise calculations.

How would you solve the following problem on Wolfram|Alpha (www.wolframalpha.com)?

Problem

If C is a circle or radius 1 with equation x^2+y^2=1, find
\iint_{C} (x^2 + y^2) \cdot \mathrm{d}x \cdot \mathrm{d}y

This week, I saw a documentary done by the French called Les sacrifiés de l'IA, which was presented by a Canadian show Enquête. If you understand French I recommend it. Very eye-opening. I found a similar documentary in English called The Human Cost of AI: Data workers in the Global South. There is also an interview with Milagros Miceli (appearing in both documentaries) on Youtube: I also found a powerpoint presentation by the economist Uma Rani (appearing in the French documentary), AI...
Thread 'Urgent: Physically repair - or bypass - power button on Asus laptop'
Asus Vivobook S14 flip. The power button is wrecked. Unable to turn it on AT ALL. We can get into how and why it got wrecked later, but suffice to say a kitchen knife was involved: These buttons do want to NOT come off, not like other lappies, where they can snap in and out. And they sure don't go back on. So, in the absence of a longer-term solution that might involve a replacement, is there any way I can activate the power button, like with a paperclip or wire or something? It looks...
