AI Thread Summary
Users express satisfaction with various web browsers, highlighting Opera 6 as a favorite due to its speed and user-friendly interface. Many prefer Firebird for its faster page loading times compared to Internet Explorer (IE), although some users consistently return to IE despite trying alternatives. Safari is noted for its efficiency on Mac, particularly in blocking pop-ups and compatibility with frequently visited sites. Opera, especially version 7.10, and Mozilla Firebird are recommended as strong replacements for IE, with some users also utilizing Konqueror on Linux. Overall, while there is appreciation for multiple browsers, a tendency to revert to IE is common among users.

I personally liked Opera 6 the best. For now I'm sticking with Firebird.

I try them all...

...but always end up going back to IE.

Sometimes I wonder if Mr Gates has found a way to control me.

I'm enjoying Safari at the moment (mac). Quick, blocks pop-ups well, works with all the sites I visit.

I use Opera, since version 7.10, and Mozilla Firebird. Both are excellent replacement browsers for IE in my view, with Firebird loading pages faster... for me anyway.
