If a Eugenol ring was saturated into Cyclohexane, how would this change the flavor? and why?

Eugenol is C10H12O2

Why? Because it will be completely different compound.
 
I want to test a humidity sensor with one or more saturated salt solutions. The table salt that I have on hand contains one of two anticaking agents, calcium silicate or sodium aluminosilicate.
