Hey all,
So i am aware that ionic bonding is the giving/recieving of electrons between atoms to form a compound.
My question is what is it that makes the electron "move" from one atom to the other, I know that once the electron has moved the atom it came from becomes positively charged and the atom it goes to becomes negatively charged and then they have an electrostatic attraction.
Thanks
