I made the mistake of having a Pride and Prejudice moment this weekend. Now I'm pining for Darcy.

She assured me in the most animated language of the violence of her affections.

But wasn't that when she turned him down?

For some reason, she got insulted and turned him down. My wife took out her revenge in a different way.

I read the wiki before asking, but there are a few different inferences that could be made about the situation, and I don't want to assume anything. Maybe I'm over-thinking it.

I meant I watched the movie.

And I have since watched the clips of the first and second proposal and the ending scene at least once a day. *pine pine pine*

Do you mean to tell us you haven't seen the six-part BBC version, with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy, and Jennifer Ehle with her huge... tracts of land?

Get it now. Thank me later.

I must say my first idea of what has happened was identical to that of Dembadon.

If it is just about a movie... phew
