AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around two videos that have been questioned for their authenticity, with a focus on the visibility issues in the footage, where most of the scene is too dark to discern details except for a puppet-like moving head. Professional special effects experts have analyzed the videos and concluded they exhibit characteristics typical of a hoax, and not a convincing one at that. Due to the lack of productive discourse on the topic, the thread has been closed.

Note that nearly everything in the shot is too dark to see, except the head, which moves in a puppet-like fashion. Professional special effects people have looked at this and concluded that it has all the earmarks of a hoax; and not even a very good one.

Since it is either a hoax or not, and surely so, and since there is no productive discussion to be had, I'm closing the thread.

Some houses may have had plugs, but many homes just screwed the appliance into the light socket overhead. Does anyone know when electric wall plugs were in widespread use? 1906 ad DDTJRAC Even big...
