AI Thread Summary
The discussion evaluates the feasibility of a device concept proposed by user JaycubL, which is primarily based on a YouTube video. Participants express skepticism regarding JaycubL's understanding and execution of the design, which is intended to create a plasma smoke ring. Concerns are raised about the lack of substantial documentation beyond the video, suggesting that the concept may not be viable. The consensus leans towards the idea that the design is unlikely to function as claimed. Overall, the analysis indicates significant doubts about the project's potential success.

This is a plan for a device that is going to be made a user called "JaycubL" he has no confirmation but I would like to know if the concept is in the right direction. I am not the one making it

If the only documentation is a YouTube video, the answer is likely "no".

Yes I do agree with you and, from the explanation from the video and his description and comments it looks like he does not know what he is doing. He claims that his design is based off a smoke ring gun and he is simply making a plasma smoke ring. This is something for skeptics forums but they are not usually able to handle this but they had not content on machines so I tried here. I could see how it would not work the way he says it does thank you.

Hi all, I have a question. So from the derivation of the Isentropic process relationship PV^gamma = constant, there is a step dW = PdV, which can only be said for quasi-equilibrium (or reversible) processes. As such I believe PV^gamma = constant (and the family of equations) should not be applicable to just adiabatic processes? Ie, it should be applicable only for adiabatic + reversible = isentropic processes? However, I've seen couple of online notes/books, and...
I have an engine that uses a dry sump oiling system. The oil collection pan has three AN fittings to use for scavenging. Two of the fittings are approximately on the same level, the third is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch higher than the other two. The system ran for years with no problem using a three stage pump (one pressure and two scavenge stages). The two scavenge stages were connected at times to any two of the three AN fittings on the tank. Recently I tried an upgrade to a four stage pump...
