Hey guys,
I am new here. A firend and I have decided to build our own rocket. adn we were wondering if any of you knew what the brun temp. in celcius was for a model rocket engin. We are looking at the G2's. any help would be great here. thanks a lot!

A quick google search isn't giving any results.

Your best bet would probably be to contact the manufacturer. You'll be asking what the 'flame temperature' or 'adiabatic flame temperature' is.

If you know the chemical composition, I may be able to come up with a first cut approximation for you if that doesn't work.
 
We are thinking about using eathanol. with a gallon of fuel, and a 3" diameter... single stages estimates are around 17,000 feet so that's what we want to do.
 
I think it's easist first to watch a short vidio clip I find these videos very relaxing to watch .. I got to thinking is this being done in the most efficient way? The sand has to be suspended in the water to move it to the outlet ... The faster the water , the more turbulance and the sand stays suspended, so it seems to me the rule of thumb is the hose be aimed towards the outlet at all times .. Many times the workers hit the sand directly which will greatly reduce the water...
