AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the stoichiometric calculation for preparing 10 grams of U6Bi. The initial calculation provided by Rajini indicates a need for 8.7 grams of uranium (U) and 1.3 grams of bismuth (Bi), which is confirmed to be correct but not highly precise. A more accurate breakdown suggests the required amounts are approximately 8.7235 grams of U and 1.2765 grams of Bi.

Hello All,
To preparate 10 g of
U6Bi
we need 8.7 g of U
and 1.3 g of Bi. Is my stoichiometric calculation correct.
THanks, Rajini.

Hmm thanks!
The accurate value..
U=8.723513989 g
Bi=1.276486011 g

It seems like a simple enough question: what is the solubility of epsom salt in water at 20°C? A graph or table showing how it varies with temperature would be a bonus. But upon searching the internet I have been unable to determine this with confidence. Wikipedia gives the value of 113g/100ml. But other sources disagree and I can't find a definitive source for the information. I even asked chatgpt but it couldn't be sure either. I thought, naively, that this would be easy to look up without...
