AI Thread Summary
Computer simulations hold potential for revolutionizing material design, particularly in alloy development. While there is currently no software that operates solely from first principles, some tools can interpolate properties of existing alloys. Users are encouraged to consider the broader context of their design challenges. Further exploration of relevant literature may provide insights into available solutions. Overall, the integration of simulations in material design is an evolving field with promising avenues for research.

hello

are there software to design alloys in silico or other materials and see how they would perform?

thanks!

To my knowledge, there is nothing that works from first principles, but it is possible to interpolate between properties of existing alloys.

thanks but I am looking for software

You need to zoom out and think more carefully about the problem you are trying to solve.

I think it's easist first to watch a short vidio clip I find these videos very relaxing to watch .. I got to thinking is this being done in the most efficient way? The sand has to be suspended in the water to move it to the outlet ... The faster the water , the more turbulance and the sand stays suspended, so it seems to me the rule of thumb is the hose be aimed towards the outlet at all times .. Many times the workers hit the sand directly which will greatly reduce the water...
