AI Thread Summary
Chronic anxiety is causing severe panic and nervousness, with heart rates reported between 172-220, indicating a potential health crisis. Immediate medical attention is strongly advised, as self-medication is not recommended. Consulting a psychiatrist is crucial, as they specialize in mental health and can prescribe appropriate treatments. It may take time to find the right medication, but persistence is important. If a psychiatrist is unavailable, visiting a general practitioner is also a viable option. Prompt action is essential for health and well-being.

I'm sorry for posting this thread. I know that this is not the right site to ask but my curiosity is really bothering me and I need an answer about this serious illness that I'm having right now. In these past few days, I noticed that I have this anxiety called " Chronic anxiety" and honestly I don't know what it does to me until I keep suffering from extreme panic/nervousness even though It's not a big deal. I also monitored my heart rate and It goes like 172-220 which is obviously not a good sign for health. If someone at you here experienced this kind of mental illness that I have right now, Do you have any tips to get rid of this chronic anxiety disorder that I am bearing right now? Thank you in advance.

Yes: Please visit a doctor immediately. We do not offer medical advice on this site. You should not try to self-medicate either. Proper clinical treatment will certainly make you better.

@waternohitter, you should see a psychiatrist, they are medical doctors that have studied for additional years on problems with the brain and how these problems affect the body. There are medications that may stop the symptoms you described, but it is up to the specialist doctor to determine what may be causing the problems and if medication is required. You may have to try several medications before you find what works for you, don't give up. But do see one very soon.

Good luck to you!

A heart rate of 170-220 at any physical effort level less than maximum effort sprinting up a steep hill indicates a serious problem. Doctor. Now. If you cannot find a psychiatrist, go to a general practitioner. But go.

And good luck.

Just ONCE, I wanted to see a post titled Status Update that was not a blatant, annoying spam post by a new member. So here it is. Today was a good day here in Northern Wisconsin. Fall colors are here, no mosquitos, no deer flies, and mild temperature, so my morning run was unusually nice. Only two meetings today, and both went well. The deer that was road killed just down the road two weeks ago is now fully decomposed, so no more smell. Somebody has a spike buck skull for their...
