As we know in indo-pak our home supply voltages frequency is 50 Hz. And in USA it's 60Hz. Is there any device/circuit that can change frequency to 15Hz or any other according to our requirements.
Please Elaborate :confused:

You can use a motor-generator combination, or rectify the input power and use an inverter to make your new output power waveform.

Quiz Question -- why would 15Hz be a bad choice for a power waveform?
 
How much power? You could mix and filter. That would be way cool (in a Rube Goldberg sort of way) -- a Power Mixer! :approve:
 
here is an example in "Dielectric heating" which is used to heat insulators like wood, plastic, ceramics etc which cannot be heated easily and uniformly by another method.
In this method we apply voltages of about 20KV at frequency of 10 to 30Mhz. Now how they change frequency. One method may be changing the speed of generator but any other one!
 
Hey guys. I have a question related to electricity and alternating current. Say an alien fictional society developed electricity, and settled on a standard like 73V AC current at 46 Hz. While I was rolling out a shielded cable, a though came to my mind - what happens to the current flow in the cable if there came a short between the wire and the shield in both ends of the cable?
