Curl of electrostatic field vector

AI Thread Summary
The curl of the electrostatic field vector is consistently zero, even at the edge region of a finite parallel plate capacitor. This is due to the conservative nature of electrostatic forces, which ensures that the curl remains zero regardless of the field's location. The discussion confirms that the electrostatic field does not change at the edges of the capacitor. Therefore, the curl of the electrostatic field at these edges is also zero. Understanding this principle is crucial in electrostatics.

I know that the curl of electrostatic field vector is zero. I want to know what will be the curl of electrostatic field at the edge region of the finite parallel plate capacitor?

Electrostatic forces are conservative in nature. So, regardless of where the field is, their curl is always zero.

Thread 'Motional EMF in Faraday disc, co-rotating magnet axial mean flux'
So here is the motional EMF formula. Now I understand the standard Faraday paradox that an axis symmetric field source (like a speaker motor ring magnet) has a magnetic field that is frame invariant under rotation around axis of symmetry. The field is static whether you rotate the magnet or not. So far so good. What puzzles me is this , there is a term average magnetic flux or "azimuthal mean" , this term describes the average magnetic field through the area swept by the rotating Faraday...
