I Data needed: Relative permittivity of air

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the search for accurate values of the relative permittivity of air at specific conditions: 1.4 GHz frequency, 25ºC temperature, 1 atm pressure, and 50% humidity. The original poster expresses frustration with existing online resources, which provide insufficient accuracy and lack detailed information on temperature and frequency dependencies. They require data with a precision of 1e-5 for a research application and seek reliable references for citation. Participants suggest using Google for preliminary searches but acknowledge the difficulty in finding precise data. The need for a formula or reliable source for the specified conditions remains a key focus of the conversation.

Where can I found values of the relative permittivity of air at different temperatures, frequencies, pressure, humidity, etc. or its dependence?
I'm particularly interested in data around 1.4 GHz, 25ºC, 1 atm. 50% hum.

Thanks in advance.

Google is your friend. What have you found so far with your Google searches? Have you found numerous websites with information on this, but not one or two of the values that you need? What accuracy do you need the data to? What is the application?

In this case, Google is not my friend, or it is not enough. Indeed there are numerous websites where the data appears, but not with sufficient accuracy or without information on temperature, frequency, reliable reference, etc. For example, values like 1, 10006, 1000589, 10005364, 1000524, etc. are found.
Do a search for yourself and you will see what I say.
The application for which I need the data requires a precision of 1e-5 and at 25ºC, 1 atm, 50% hum, 1.4 GHz approximately, or some formula that allows obtaining it for those conditions and a reliable reference that can be cited in a paper.
Can anyone help, please?

Thread 'Gauss' law seems to imply instantaneous electric field propagation'
Imagine a charged sphere at the origin connected through an open switch to a vertical grounded wire. We wish to find an expression for the horizontal component of the electric field at a distance ##\mathbf{r}## from the sphere as it discharges. By using the Lorenz gauge condition: $$\nabla \cdot \mathbf{A} + \frac{1}{c^2}\frac{\partial \phi}{\partial t}=0\tag{1}$$ we find the following retarded solutions to the Maxwell equations If we assume that...
Thread 'A scenario of non-uniform circular motion'
(All the needed diagrams are posted below) My friend came up with the following scenario. Imagine a fixed point and a perfectly rigid rod of a certain length extending radially outwards from this fixed point(it is attached to the fixed point). To the free end of the fixed rod, an object is present and it is capable of changing it's speed(by thruster say or any convenient method. And ignore any resistance). It starts with a certain speed but say it's speed continuously increases as it goes...
Maxwell’s equations imply the following wave equation for the electric field $$\nabla^2\mathbf{E}-\frac{1}{c^2}\frac{\partial^2\mathbf{E}}{\partial t^2} = \frac{1}{\varepsilon_0}\nabla\rho+\mu_0\frac{\partial\mathbf J}{\partial t}.\tag{1}$$ I wonder if eqn.##(1)## can be split into the following transverse part $$\nabla^2\mathbf{E}_T-\frac{1}{c^2}\frac{\partial^2\mathbf{E}_T}{\partial t^2} = \mu_0\frac{\partial\mathbf{J}_T}{\partial t}\tag{2}$$ and longitudinal part...
