AI Thread Summary
Home appliances and entertainment devices, such as NEST modules, can be connected to the internet via Ethernet cables. However, running Ethernet cables to every room may not be necessary. Alternatives like bridging adapters can allow Ethernet-only devices to connect to the home network without direct wiring from the router to each room. These adapters facilitate network access for multiple devices, providing a more flexible solution for home networking.

Today I am seeing quiet a number of home appliances or entertainment devices (Eg. NEST Module) plugged-in to the Ethernet cable. Since I don't have much knowledge on this topic I have a little doubt.

Just consider the example of NEST. In case, I have a NEST device installed in every room of my house, is it necessary to run the Ethernet cable from the router to every room of my home? Or is there some other way?

Regards

Last night I had four docs with a red circle, one with blue. When I closed the blue and opened it again it was red. Today I have 3...

(I had problems with copy/paste of text and formatting, so I'm posting my examples as screen shots. That is a promising start. But then I provided values V=1, R1=1, R2=2, R3=3 and asked for the value of I. At first, it said...
