AI Thread Summary
To calculate the energy stored in a fully charged battery with a constant voltage of 4V and a capacity of 2 A-h, first convert the ampere-hours to coulombs, resulting in 7200 C. Using the formula for energy, which is Joules equals voltage multiplied by coulombs, the calculation is 4V multiplied by 7200 C. This results in an energy storage of 28800 J. The solution is confirmed to be correct.

Homework Statement

A battery with constant voltage of 4V and 2 A-h, find the energy (in jouls) stored in the battery when it is fully charged.

Homework Equations

A-h=3600 C
1 Joule= V*C.

The Attempt at a Solution

We have 2A-h=7200 C, and Joules are volt-couloumb, so we multiply to get that the the energy is : 4*2*3600=28800 J.

Am I correct ?
