In summary, during a conversation about the England vs T&T game, it was mentioned that England was the favorite to win, but T&T was expected to put up a solid defensive effort. The possibility of a 0-0 tie was mentioned, as well as the likelihood of England scoring on a setpiece goal. However, a 0-1 upset by T&T was also considered. The game ended with England winning 2-0, with goals scored by Crouch and Gerrard. Despite T&T's valiant effort, they were outshot and only managed to score one goal, which was deemed offside. Some individuals predicted the 2-0 scoreline and commented on England's struggles against defensive teams.

Obviously England are favorites.

Expect another solid defensive effort from T&T.

0-0 is possible.
England 1-0 on a setpiece goal seems likely.
0-1 T&T upset is a possibility.

Almost 0-1 for T&T. Kind of rooting for T&T at the moment.

Don't underestimate TT. They've been stopping everything England's been trying to do and just playing it slow. Hislop is insane in the goal.

That was one hell of a save by England at around 45min. TT was about 4 inches away from having the first goal...

Where's Rooney? Why hasn't he started?

It's easy to root for the underdog. Especially after T&T showed such poise against Sweden.

About time! Crouch makes it 1-0 to england.

EDIT: 2-0 now, thanks to Steven Gerrard. The scoreline is unfair to T&T, they played a valiant game.

Awesome game.

T&T didn't play that well. England out shot them like 5 to 1!

Good defensive effort but that's it.

aggreed, its hard to score when u have 10 men defending... TnT weren't that good, they were very lucky because they lost there shape completely by the end of the match

England's problem seems to be that the other teams are pulling everyone behind the ball, killing our midfield play.

Which, of course, is what they should do to stop us.

It'll be interesting when we get to play some bigger teams, who will attack us, leaving big gaps for the likes of Cole to run in.

At the moment, we look like the Germans - scoring in the last 5 minutes
