In summary, many people can relate to feeling disappointed with their performance on an exam, only to later find out that they didn't do as poorly as they thought. Sometimes, we may know the material but struggle to express it on paper.

Hi all. finished the first two papers from my final degrees in physics. Paper 1 was fine but paper 2 was just horrible . I attempted 3/4 q's not all greatly, My question is: Has anyone else here left an exam feeling rotten about what they answered and after a few results showed you didnt too badly after all.

Lots of people.

Also, lots of people walk away thinking they did badly and discovered that they actually did do badly. You can't tell until you have the test back.
