Low Frequency Sound & Ghostly Experiences

AI Thread Summary
Weird sensations and feelings of unease often reported in haunted locations may be attributed to infrasound, which consists of very low frequency sounds that are inaudible to humans. This phenomenon can cause physical reactions such as shivers and discomfort, leading some to believe in the presence of ghosts. The discussion also touches on the philosophical notion that true "ghosts" may only exist in abstract thought, suggesting a more conceptual understanding of the supernatural rather than a physical presence.
