AI Thread Summary
Facebook is rumored to be shutting down on March 15th, according to a source from Weekly World News, but this claim is widely dismissed as false. Users point out that Facebook has officially refuted these rumors, stating they are not shutting down and will continue to operate. In the discussion, there is also mention of Pocodot, a platform that is gaining attention through suspiciously frequent advertising in YouTube comments, often from accounts with no real activity. This raises questions about the legitimacy of Pocodot and whether it could become a significant social media platform like Facebook. However, skepticism remains about Pocodot's potential to rival established networks.

According to http://weeklyworldnews.com/headlines/27321/facebook-will-end-on-march-15th/, Facebook is going to get shut down on march 15th.
Nowadays while watching Youtube videos, I've been noticing many "fake" comments advertising Pocodot (http://www.pocodot.com/); comments posted by "empty" accounts always being from Philippines and USA.

Their advertisements are all over high-viewed Youtube music videos, and as far as I know they've not been "blocked" and therefore Youtube may be supporting them.

I wonder if Pocodot is going to be the next "Facebook" in a few months.

What are your thoughts concerning this?
