A substance is found to have a density of 2.40 g mL-1 and weighs 100g. What is its volume in mL?
How would you start to answer this question?
100/2.4= 0.024 mL !!!! i dont know if its right :(
It's set up correctly but how do get that small of a number by dividing 100 by less than three?
i dont know, could you please explain it to me more!!!
Oh, I don't know. 100/3=33.33333 and 100/2=50. Seems like 100/2.4 should be something between 33 and 50....
oops yeah right sorry for wrong answer :D 100/2.4= 41.67 mL
