AI Thread Summary
For simulating holograms, the MedCosm Computer Generated Hologram (CGH) Construction Kit is recommended as a Java program. The Synthetic Holography Toolkit is noted as a superior option for both generation and reconstruction, though it requires compilation. For those interested in volume holograms, the 'vhologram' plugin for Zemax optical design software allows for additional lens construction around the hologram. Useful links for these programs are provided for further exploration. These tools offer various capabilities for holographic simulation and generation.

does anyone know of a program where I can simulate the properties of a hologram, or generate a hologram from an image?

thanks :)

if you want to simulate volume holograms, you might try 'vhologram'. it is a plugin for the optical design software zemax. the nice thing is you can build other lenses around the hologram.

I think it's easist first to watch a short vidio clip I find these videos very relaxing to watch .. I got to thinking is this being done in the most efficient way? The sand has to be suspended in the water to move it to the outlet ... The faster the water , the more turbulance and the sand stays suspended, so it seems to me the rule of thumb is the hose be aimed towards the outlet at all times .. Many times the workers hit the sand directly which will greatly reduce the water...
