AI Thread Summary
Diamond and aluminum nitride are identified as materials that exhibit excellent thermal conductivity while demonstrating poor electrical conductivity. Boron nitride is also mentioned as a suitable candidate in this category. The discussion references the Wiedemann-Franz Law, which generally applies to metals. Overall, these materials are valuable in applications where thermal management is crucial without the need for electrical conduction.

1. What are the only two materials that are good thermal conductors but poor electrical conductors? I think all metals follow the Wiedemann-Franz Law.

Diamond is, I believe, one of them.
