AI Thread Summary
Users are experiencing issues editing posts in the Electrical Engineering forum due to Chrome's security features, specifically an error message related to XSS auditing. While basic edits for typos are possible, access to advanced editing options for attachments is blocked. The problem seems to be linked to recent updates in Chrome that have disrupted functionality. A software upgrade is planned to resolve these issues. Users are advised to check for updates to their browser to potentially fix the editing problems.

@Greg Bernhardt :

I have created a thread (in Electrical Engineering), decided to change my post a bit, clicked on Edit, then on More options. Chrome blocks PF (says something about strange code, not sure about the wording as I see it in Polish) and displays an error message ERR_BLOCKED_BY_XSS_AUDITOR.

After clicking the Edit I can modify typos, but I have no access to More options to deal with attached graphics.

I had something I wanted the scientific community to know and slipped a new idea in against the rules. Thank you also to @berkeman for suggesting paths to meet with academia. Anyway, I finally got a paper on the same matter as discussed in those forum threads, the fat lens model, got it peer-reviewed, and IJRAP...
About 20 years ago, in my mid-30s (and with a BA in economics and a master's in business), I started taking night classes in physics hoping to eventually earn the science degree I'd always wanted but never pursued. I found physics forums and used it to ask questions I was unable to get answered from my textbooks or class lectures. Unfortunately, work and life got in the way and I never got further the freshman courses. Well, here it is 20 years later. I'm in my mid-50s now, and in a...
