Could anyone explain what the following ratings mean on a transformer?
120kw load, 1000v/500v, 60Hz

120 kW can't be labeled rating of a transformer. 120 kVA can.

Yeah, I saw that too when I researched it and thought maybe its an old way to rate transformers or some wattage that you shouldn't exceed when you place a load on it.
