AI Thread Summary
For students preparing for a physics course, particularly in Year 10, finding effective study resources is crucial. Schaum's Outlines are recommended as a helpful study guide, though some may not be as effective. The first semester covered topics like optics, Newtonian mechanics, and nuclear physics, but specifics for the second semester remain unclear. It's important to seek out resources that align with the curriculum to ensure comprehensive preparation.

i was just wondering if there might be study guide or a good information source that could help learn about physics in preparation for next term.

i can't quite seem to find any at the library or on the computer:(.

it depends on what physics class you are taking. schaum's outlines is usually a good resource, although there are some clunkers.

hi thankyou for replying.

i just finished the first section of year 10 that had some optics, Newtonian mechanics, and nuclear physics. i was just told i get to study physics in the second sememster but I am not quite sure what type of physics we will learn there.

thankyou

Hey, I am Andreas from Germany. I am currently 35 years old and I want to relearn math and physics. This is not one of these regular questions when it comes to this matter. So... I am very realistic about it. I know that there are severe contraints when it comes to selfstudy compared to a regular school and/or university (structure, peers, teachers, learning groups, tests, access to papers and so on) . I will never get a job in this field and I will never be taken serious by "real"...
Yesterday, 9/5/2025, when I was surfing, I found an article The Schwarzschild solution contains three problems, which can be easily solved - Journal of King Saud University - Science ABUNDANCE ESTIMATION IN AN ARID ENVIRONMENT https://jksus.org/the-schwarzschild-solution-contains-three-problems-which-can-be-easily-solved/ that has the derivation of a line element as a corrected version of the Schwarzschild solution to Einstein’s field equation.
