How Can You Help JP Cruz with His Engineering Project at Stratford High School?

AI Thread Summary
JP Cruz is seeking participants for a survey related to his high school engineering course project, which involves prototyping an idea for presentation. He emphasizes the importance of gathering data to support his problem statement and design brief. Some participants express skepticism about the survey's purpose and question its relevance to his design process. There is a suggestion to use the forum's polling capabilities instead of a survey link. The discussion highlights the need for clarity in project objectives and data collection methods.

Hello my name is JP Cruz I'm currently taking an engineering course in my high school. Its a open ended design class where we think of an idea to prototype and present at the end of the year. I need as many people as I can to take our google forums to get the best data. I'm just asking for five minutes of your time, I really need your help.
Thank you

This seems like a rather trivial survey.

What are you trying to accomplish here? Are you testing a web app? or gathering stats on how many people will respond?

I am a high school student and need to get as many people as I can to take the survey. I am in my fourth year engineering class and need help with ideas on how our prototype will work. We need to gather data for our problem statement and design brief.

I still don't get it. What are you trying to design and how does this survey help?

The forum has a capability for doing polls. I deleted the link and will send you instructions for doing a poll by PM

Hello! I've been brainstorming on how to prevent a lot of ferrofluid droplets that are in the same container. This is for an art idea that I have (I absolutely love it when science and art come together) where I want it to look like a murmuration of starlings. Here's a link of what they look like: How could I make this happen? The only way I can think of to achieve the desired effect is to have varying droplet sizes of ferrofluid suspended in a clear viscous liquid. Im hoping for the...
Hello everyone! I am curious to learn how laboratories handle in-house chip manufacturing using soft lithography for microfluidics research. In the lab where I worked, only the mask for lithography was made by an external company, whereas the mold and chip fabrication were carried out by us. The process of making PDMS chips required around 30 min–1 h of manual work between prepolymer casting, punching/cutting, and plasma bonding. However, the total time required to make them was around 4...
