How do I apply for Master in Science, Physics at UBC, Vancouver campus?

AI Thread Summary
An Indian student in their final year of BSc in Physics seeks guidance on applying for a Master's in Physics at the University of British Columbia (UBC). They express confusion over the application process, particularly regarding deadlines and the online application system, which is not allowing them to proceed. The student notes that the website mentions a deadline of January 15 but lacks clarity on how to manage the application, especially since final year results are typically released in July. They have attempted to contact the administration department via email but have not received a response in five weeks, prompting a suggestion to consider calling the admissions office for more direct assistance.

Hello Mate,
This is my first post and I have always seen you guys are helpful to everyone. Thank you for all the knowledge you share from time to time.
I am an Indian student pursuing my Final year in BSc (Physics). I would like to apply for Master in Science, Physics at University of British Columbia, Vancouver campus. But the website doesn't provide clear understanding in how to process the application.
I am not able to understand the deadlines, but they mention 15th January. When I start the online application it doesn't allow me to process application.

If you have happened to apply at UBC, or you are a student at UBC, can you tell me how is the procedure to held. And since we generally have our Final Year results out in month of July, how should i process the forms.
Thank You.

Sorry I forgot to mention:[EDIT]
I have tried mailing the administration department but haven't received a reply since past 5 weeks.

Wouldn't it be easier/straightforward to email/call the administration of the admission program?

Hey, I am Andreas from Germany. I am currently 35 years old and I want to relearn math and physics. This is not one of these regular questions when it comes to this matter. So... I am very realistic about it. I know that there are severe contraints when it comes to selfstudy compared to a regular school and/or university (structure, peers, teachers, learning groups, tests, access to papers and so on) . I will never get a job in this field and I will never be taken serious by "real"...
