AI Thread Summary
Geant4 is a toolkit for simulating the passage of particles through matter, widely used in high-energy physics. Users often seek specific functions related to ion potential for various materials, which can be challenging to locate in the documentation. The original poster has explored the official Geant4 website but is struggling to find the necessary information regarding ion potential. Assistance from experienced users in navigating the documentation or finding specific functions would be beneficial. Clarifying the requirements for ion potential calculations could enhance the support received.

I did go through that website and the documentation. But I need to find the Ion potential of a certain material/element in a chamber, and can't seem to find the required function(s) for it. If anyone knows abt how to get around this, it would be helpful.

comparing a flat solar panel of area 2π r² and a hemisphere of the same area, the hemispherical solar panel would only occupy the area π r² of while the flat panel would occupy an entire 2π r² of land. wouldn't the hemispherical version have the same area of panel exposed to the sun, occupy less land space and can therefore increase the number of panels one land can have fitted? this would increase the power output proportionally as well. when I searched it up I wasn't satisfied with...
