AI Thread Summary
Methods to change the 3D structure of a molecule include applying energy through thermal, electrical, or magnetic means, initiating chemical reactions, and utilizing mechanical forces with nanodevices. The feasibility of these methods varies based on specific conditions and the molecular structure in question. Additional methods may exist, but the discussion emphasizes the need for a more precise context to explore the full range of possibilities effectively.

Hello

I want to know the available methods to change the 3d structure of a molecule

Thanks

It is like saying "I want to know all prime numbers". There are infinitely many, so you can't.

But perhaps the question is in fact more precise or asked in some context, which limits possible answer space.

Well i was expecting something like:

By providing energy, thermal, electrical, magnetical.

By chemical reaction.
By mechanical force, using nanodevices.

Etc.

But a bit more precisely. Also, are all these methods feasible? Last, any other method?

I want to test a humidity sensor with one or more saturated salt solutions. The table salt that I have on hand contains one of two anticaking agents, calcium silicate or sodium aluminosilicate. Will the presence of either of these additives (or iodine for that matter) significantly affect the equilibrium humidity? I searched and all the how-to-do-it guides did not address this question. One research paper I found reported that at 1.5% w/w calcium silicate increased the deliquescent point by...
