AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the interpretation of a McDonald's advertisement featuring two posters. The primary point is that the dual-poster setup encourages viewers to engage more deeply with the brand, as the second poster creates a sense of proximity and anticipation, effectively acting as a countdown to the restaurant. This clever design strategy is highlighted as a way to capture attention and reinforce brand recognition. The conversation also includes a lighthearted comment referencing Sesame Street, adding a playful tone to the analysis.

As like all adverts, they want to look at the poster and get something from it. If it was just one 200m poster you'd probably look at it and look away, but the fact that there is a second makes you look again and think about mcdonalds. It's quite clever really, like starting a countdown to you getting there.
