The Chicago Blues Fest is going on this weekend in Grant Park right in the heart of downtown Chicago. If you are attending this, or are in downtown Chicago this afternoon, a short walk from the Blues Fest up Columbus drive just north of the Chicago River, you can attend this http://www.fnal.gov/pub/presspass/press_releases/2011/TIPP2011_PublicLecture.html" that will be given by Lyn Evans at 3:00 pm in the Sheraton Hotel and Towers.

This lecture is part of the Technology and Instrumentation in Particle Physics (TIPP) conference that I am attending right now. It is your chance to hear about the LHC from the point of view of the mind-bloggling technology and the detectors that are an integral part of the facility.

Last night I had four docs with a red circle, one with blue. When I closed the blue and opened it again it was red. Today I have 3...
