AI Thread Summary
For lab practical preparation, particularly for models of biological structures, various online resources are recommended. Users suggest searching Google Images with specific anatomy terms to find detailed visuals of models for flowers, plant parts (like stems and roots), fetal pigs, human eyes, and skin. Several specific links to images of the human heart, eye, and skin are provided, showcasing their anatomical features. These resources aim to enhance understanding and visibility of model parts, which can be challenging to discern from printed images. The emphasis is on utilizing online tools to access clear, labeled diagrams that aid in studying for practical exams.

I have a lab practical coming up and they use models a lot on these exams. I printed out pictures of the models with their respective keys but it's impossible tosee the numbers on a model by a picture. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend websites that have models to learn the parts of a typical flower, various plant parts(stems, roots, etc), fetal pig, human eye, skin. Any websites would be great thanks!

I am reading Nicholas Wade's book A Troublesome Inheritance. Please let's not make this thread a critique about the merits or demerits of the book. This thread is my attempt to understanding the evidence that Natural Selection in the human genome was recent and regional. On Page 103 of A Troublesome Inheritance, Wade writes the following: "The regional nature of selection was first made evident in a genomewide scan undertaken by Jonathan Pritchard, a population geneticist at the...
