AI Thread Summary
The discussion focuses on the use of DOS commands, specifically BACKUP and RESTORE, with users seeking guidance on their proper application. There is a suggestion that using modern freeware solutions might be more efficient, particularly for users constrained to older systems like Windows 98 with limited capabilities. WinRAR is recommended as a suitable command-line utility that can fit on a floppy disk. Additionally, comprehensive help pages for the BACKUP and RESTORE commands are provided, offering detailed instructions for users who wish to continue utilizing these DOS commands.

I don't know if there is a thread with help on DOS but I am trying to find out how to use the BACKUP and RESTORE commands properly as I have tried to use them and have failed on a number of tries.

Thanks for any help in advanced.

Thanks.

Thread 'ChatGPT Examples, Good and Bad'

(I had problems with copy/paste of text and formatting, so I'm posting my examples as screen shots. That is a promising start. But then I provided values V=1, R1=1, R2=2, R3=3 and asked for the value of I. At first, it said...
